ModuHelp

ModuHelp vs Zendesk

One is a twenty-year-old support platform with everything in it. The other does a single thing. The useful question is not which is better — it is which one fits you.

The short answer

Zendesk is a full helpdesk: ticketing, chat, phone, messaging, reporting, SLAs, routing and a large integrations catalogue. It is built for support teams that grow, and for companies with someone responsible for administering the tool.

ModuHelp does one thing: it reads your support inbox, drafts a reply from your own documents, and waits for a person to approve it. There is no chat, no phone and no reporting. It is for the three-to-ten-person company where customer support is an inbox nobody has time to watch.

If your support team is five people or fewer, works only over email, and you want to know the bill before the month ends, the rest of this page is worth reading. If you are past that, or you need other channels, Zendesk is the sensible choice and this saves you an evaluation.

How the AI is billed: Not billed separately. AI replies are included up to the monthly cap; replying by hand never counts against it.

Figures in the currency and billing basis each vendor publishes. We do not convert currencies or restate annual prices as monthly ones: either would skew the comparison.

What Zendesk does better

None of this is throat-clearing. If you need any of it, Zendesk is the right call and ModuHelp is not.

What ModuHelp does not do

Where ModuHelp differs

Flat price, AI included

Zendesk bills per agent, and its AI is billed per automated resolution above the plan allowance. With ModuHelp the plan includes a fixed number of AI replies, and the invoice does not move with the number of emails that arrive.

Approval before sending

By default nothing goes out until a person has seen it. That is a product decision, not a missing feature: if you get five annoyed customers a week, you do not want to learn what the agent said after it said it.

European, in Portuguese

Data hosted in the EU, billing in euros with VAT, an Article 28 GDPR DPA, and a European Portuguese interface that was written rather than machine-translated.

Choose Zendesk if

  • You have more than a handful of support agents, or expect to.
  • You need chat, phone or social channels alongside email.
  • You need reporting to manage the team or account for the work.
  • You need to connect support to a CRM or store through integrations.
  • You have formal SLA, role and permission requirements.

Choose ModuHelp if

  • Your support happens over email and will keep happening there.
  • You are three to ten people and nobody does support full time.
  • You want to know the invoice amount before the month ends.
  • You want a person to approve what the AI writes, at least for now.
  • You want the data in the EU and the tool in European Portuguese.
